Arash Maleki, MD
Vitreoretinal Surgeon and Uveitis Specialist
Dr. Arash Maleki earned his medical degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Iran. He completed his residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in medical retina and vitreoretinal surgery at Iran University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Maleki then pursued a fellowship in ocular immunology and uveitis at the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution. Following this, he joined Stanford University as a Visiting Scholar, where he specialized in treating complex uveitis and vitreoretinal cases. He later returned to the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution, serving as an associate and Chief Fellow.
Before joining Specialty Retina Center, Dr. Maleki was an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida for near three years. He has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications and serves as an editor and reviewer for several leading journals in the fields of retina and uveitis.
Dr. Maleki joined Specialty Retina Center in 2024. He provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages with surgical and medical retinal diseases. In addition, he treats patients with uveitis and other ocular inflammatory conditions.
